But it wasn’t always this integrated.
For many years, I kept my worlds separate — business and soul, structure and intuition, tangible outcomes and the invisible threads of human experience. But leadership isn’t about separation. It’s about integration. That’s the shift I live and lead today.

MY JOURNEY STARTED IN
the community sector
My early career involved supporting young people navigating unemployment, homelessness, trauma, systemic barriers and deep uncertainty. What captivated me wasn’t just their challenges — it was their potential. Their humanity. Their stories.
I moved from youth worker to coordinator to service manager, often leading under pressure with limited resources. And when the system didn’t provide what we needed, I created it. Catering businesses. Arts initiatives. Mud-brick building projects. These enterprises became vehicles for both social good and financial sustainability. I was doing business long before I called it that — blending creativity with service, heart with strategy.
But over time, the external noise, the sector’s contraints and funding limitations became louder. Something in me knew it was time to step fully into what I was here to do.
RETURNING TO MY FIRST LOVE:

As a girl, I started my first venture at 11, another at 14. Creation and contribution were in my bones. Yet, like many, I took a safer path — teaching — because I didn’t yet trust that I could lead from who I was.
Founding my own learning and development business was the beginning of integration. Over the past 25+ years, I’ve worked across four continents, partnering with local, state, national and global organisations. From boardrooms to grassroots teams, I’ve helped leaders align who they are with how they lead — developing people and building cultures of trust, clarity and sustainable performance.
In my book, The Essential Guide to Successful Training: Shifting Paradigms in Organisational Learning, I share insights into how organisations can maximise learning and development for real, lasting change. But my deepest work happens in the moments when I support leaders to step into their fullest potential—not just as professionals, but as whole, aligned human beings.
And through it all, one truth has emerged again and again:
Leadership is not just a professional skillset — it’s a personal journey.
The Unity Shift was born from this belief.
It’s more than a business.
It’s a movement — reshaping leadership from the inside out.
I now stand alongside leaders who are navigating complexity, leading change and searching for something deeper. Not more performance. More alignment. More presence. More meaning. I help them come home to themselves — and lead from there.
This is the wisdom phase of my career. A time for integration, contribution and deep impact. I bring everything I’ve lived — the grit, the grace, the growth — to this work. And I do it because I believe leadership, when done with heart and clarity, has the power to transform not just organisations, but lives.
